New NSF EDGE Grant!

We were awarded an NSF EDGE grant during the summer, in collaboration with Lisa Treidel, Kristi Montooth, and Colin Meikeljohn at University of Nebraska at Lincoln. The proposal aims to uncover the genomic basis of the wing dimorphism in Gryllus crickets, using a combination of artificial selection, quantitative genetics, genomic sequencing, and comparative and phylogenetic analyses. Jackie, Lourenco, Meghan and Olivia have already started these interesting experiments, so watch this space for the first data to be coming out soon!
